The Complete System Pro

4.8· 40 reviews. Rated 4.8 out of 5, read the reviews.

The Complete System with the yard half doubled. The Rooftop Spinner unsettles pigeons and gulls where they perch, two Perimeter Sentries watch the routes animals use to cross in, and two Indoor Plugs cover the rooms pests slip into. Choose this over The Complete System when the yard has more than one route in, because one sentry watches one path and two cover two. It is the upgrade to that set, not a different category, and the roof and the rooms are handled exactly the same way in both.

Roof, yard, and rooms

From the ridge line to the back rooms, every spot feels a little less inviting.

How it works

Three steps. Then forget it.

1

Cover the roof

Mount the Rooftop Spinner on a ridge, parapet, or ledge where birds like to perch. Its motion and reflective flash make the landing spot feel exposed, so pigeons and gulls move on to settle elsewhere. The Complete System carries the same unit for this job. The Perimeter System carries nothing for it.

2

Watch the ways in

Stake the two Perimeter Sentries facing the routes animals actually use, the gap under the hedge or the run beside the shed. A motion sensor watches a forward cone of about 110 degrees, and a crossing sets off high-frequency sound waves and an LED flash for about 30 to 40 seconds before the unit goes quiet again. Aim each one at a route rather than at open lawn.

3

Hold the indoors

Plug an Indoor Plug into an outlet in two rooms where pests tend to travel, like the kitchen, basement, garage, or utility area. Each unit works quietly in the background to make those rooms less inviting.

Why it works

Deters pigeons and gulls on the roof, yard birds, snakes, and small nuisance animals in the yard, and rodents, insects, and crawlers indoors.

Two sentries are the upgrade

Said plainly, because it is the whole reason this set exists. The Complete System puts one IonAway Yard Guardian on one problem spot. This one puts two Perimeter Sentries on two routes, one forward cone each. Buy it when the yard has more than one way in, because one sentry watches one path and two cover two.

The roof is covered, same as the standard set

The Rooftop Spinner handles the ridge, the parapet, and the ledge here exactly as it does in The Complete System. Nothing at ground level will reach a bird that is landing up top, and The Perimeter System has no unit for it at all.

One system, three fronts

Roof, yard, and indoors are covered by units chosen to work together, so you are not patching one problem while another opens up.

No poison, no traps, no harm

Every unit deters rather than kills. Nothing to bait, nothing to clean up, and safe to run around a home with kids and pets.

Nothing to wire outside

The Spinner is driven by sun and wind, and each Sentry charges from the panel on its own head. No outlet to reach, no cable to run, and no batteries to swap.

Effortless indoors

The two Indoor Plugs simply plug in and run quietly, with a soft status light and no maintenance between rooms.

Roof and the back gate in one order

Gulls on the roof and something digging by the back gate every night. The spinner went up on the ridge and the two staked units went at the gate and the side of the shed. Both spots settled down inside a couple of weeks. Getting it as one set was easier than working out what to order.

Paid up for the second yard unit

We were going to take the standard set until we counted the ways they were getting in, which was the side gate and the gap behind the garage, so two. The extra staked unit was the difference between the two sets and it was the right call. The spinner sorted the pigeons on our ridge tiles at the same time.

Great set, gave the yard units time

The roof and indoor units worked quickly. The two in the yard took a couple of weeks of leaving them in the right spots before the critters stopped cutting through the beds. Patient placement paid off.

Nothing to wire anywhere on the property

No outlet on the roof and none by the fence, so it mattered that the outdoor units run on their own. The spinner turns in any breeze and the two staked units charge in the sun. The only things plugged into anything are the pair inside.

IInesVerified · Miami, FL
Two in the yard was not quite enough for us

No complaints about how they work, but our lot backs onto scrub on two sides and two units did not watch every way in. I added a third separately. If your yard is the whole problem and your roof is fine, the four unit set is probably the better buy.

One way into the yard

The Complete System is enough

If animals come in by a single route and the rest of the boundary is closed, the standard Complete System covers it. It carries one IonAway Yard Guardian for that spot, plus the same Spinner and the same two plugs, and it costs less. Take this set only when there is more than one way in.

Two ways into the yard

This is the set for that

Put the Spinner on the main roost line, one Sentry facing each of the two routes animals actually use, and the two plugs in the rooms pests travel through. One sentry watches one path, so two of them is exactly two paths.

Crossed from every side

Add Sentries, or look at the ring

Two sentries are two entry points, not a boundary. If the yard is being crossed from three or four directions, add single Sentries to this set, or take The Perimeter System, which carries four of them although it drops the roof unit to do it.

FAQ

Good questions.

What exactly comes in the bundle?

One Rooftop Spinner, two Perimeter Sentries with their pole sections and ground stakes, and a two-pack of Indoor Plugs. Five units in total, covering the roof line, two ways into the yard, and two indoor rooms.

How is this different from The Complete System?

The yard half. Both sets carry the same Rooftop Spinner and the same two Indoor Plugs. The Complete System puts one IonAway Yard Guardian in the yard, which suits a single problem spot. This one puts two Perimeter Sentries there instead, and one sentry watches one path, so two cover two. Choose this set when the yard has more than one route in. It is the upgrade to that set rather than a different kind of product.

How is this different from The Perimeter System?

The roofline, and the number of sentries. This set carries the Rooftop Spinner and The Perimeter System does not, so this is the one to buy if birds are landing on the roof, the gutters, or a high ledge. The trade is at ground level. This set watches the yard with two Sentries where The Perimeter System carries four.

Is any of it harmful to pets, kids, or the animals?

No. Every unit deters rather than harms. There is no poison, no bait, and no trap, so it is safe to run around a home with children and pets. Dogs and cats hear higher frequencies than people do, so keep the yard units away from a dog run and the indoor units out of rooms where small caged animals live.

Do the outdoor units need wiring or batteries?

No. The Spinner is driven by sun and wind, and each Sentry charges from the panel on its own head through daylight hours. There is nothing to wire and no batteries to replace. Give each Sentry a spot that gets real sun, because sunlight is the only thing that charges it.

How much of the yard do two sentries cover?

Two entry points, not a whole boundary. Each unit watches a forward cone of about 110 degrees and reaches up to about 6 to 8 m in open conditions, so aim each one at a route animals actually use rather than at open lawn. If they are crossing in from three or four sides, add single Sentries, or look at The Perimeter System, which carries four.

Should I buy this or the standard Complete System?

Count the ways in. If there is one route animals use and the rest of the boundary is closed, The Complete System covers it with its single yard stake and costs less. If there are two, this set is the one, because one sentry watches one path and two cover two. Everything else about the two sets, the roof unit and the two indoor plugs, is the same.

Can the outdoor units stay out in the rain?

Yes. The Sentries are rated IP44, which means rain and splash resistant, and the Spinner is weatherproof and UV-stable for the roof it sits on. Neither is submersible and neither should be pressure washed. The Indoor Plugs are for indoor outlets only.

Will animals get used to it?

They can, and we are not going to promise otherwise. Any static deterrent can fade into the background over time. Moving the Sentries to new spots every few weeks helps, and so does meeting an animal on more than one front, which is the reason the roof, the yard, and the rooms are handled by different units here.

How soon will I notice a difference?

Most customers see their problem spots quiet down within a few days as animals learn the area feels unsafe. Give each unit consistent placement through the first week or two before you start moving things around.

What if it does not work for my property?

The system is covered by a 30-night home trial. If it is not the right fit, reach out and we will make it right.

The Perimeter System
Keep going

No birds on the roof?

If the roofline has never been the problem, The Perimeter System drops the Spinner and rings the yard with four Perimeter Sentries instead, with the same pair of Indoor Plugs for the rooms.

Only one way into the yard?

Two Sentries are two routes, and the second one is what you are paying for here. If animals only ever use a single spot, The Complete System carries the same Spinner and the same plugs and holds that spot with an IonAway Yard Guardian.
